National Social Housing Survey with Community Housing Report

June 2001

The 1999-2003 Commonwealth State Housing Agreement (CSHA) aims to facilitate access to affordable, appropriate and secure housing for people on low incomes and people with special needs.

The Community Housing Program provides grant funding to not-for-profit community and local government organisations for the capital acquisition costs of rental properties. These properties are rented to tenants who have the opportunity for involvement in the operational management and decision making processes.
