Sustainability Reports
The FaHCSIA Sustainability Reports assess FaHCSIA's performance against social, environmental and economic indicators.
These indicators have been selected from A guide to reporting against social indicators, A guide to reporting against environmental indicators, and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines. The report has been verified by the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO).
Triple Bottom Line Reports
Prior to 2005-06, each financial year since 2002-03, the department produced a Triple Bottom Line Report setting out its commitment to, and results in, improving the social, environmental, and economic aspects of departmental operations. In 2005-06 the report was re-named the Sustainability Report to reflect current terminology and to emphasise the underlying principle of the report.The 2002-03 Report was the first report of its kind for any Australian Government Department.
