Review of the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999
The Law Council of Australia (‘Law Council’) welcomes the opportunity to respond by way of the enclosed submission to the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs Office for Women’s Review of the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (‘Review’).
The submission was prepared on behalf of, and has been endorsed by, the Law Council’s Equalising Opportunities in the Law Committee. However, owing to time constraints the submission has not been reviewed by the Directors of the Law Council.
