Information for Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP) Providers 

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) funds organisations to provide Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP) work readiness and community development services to Indigenous job seekers in 74 regions across remote Australia.

CDEP program and better practice resources

To support CDEP providers to adjust to reforms and to encourage best practice in service delivery a number of resources have been developed

These documents provide the terms and conditions for organisations to receive program funding from FaHCSIA from 1 July 2009.

Work Readiness Services

The CDEP Work Experience Subsidy is a wage subsidy paid to employers who provide paid work experience to new CDEP participants (on income support). Information including eligibility and how to claim on the Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) website.

Community Development

These documents provide guidance on how to develop Community Profiles and Community Action Plans to facilitate a community development approach to community engagement, planning and the delivery of CDEP services.

Joint Servicing with Job Services Australia

This document provides guidance to CDEP and Job Services Australia providers for the development of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
