Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs provides secretariat support to the MCG.
MCG Meetings
The MCG meets at least once a year and conducts business out-of-session as required. The MCG has met nine (9) times since it was established:

Associated meetings of officials
The MCG Officials' Group is a Standing Committee established to assist in the implementation of decisions of the MCG and to facilitate the work of the MCG between meetings. The Officials' Group meets as required, at least twice a year.
