Background
In July 2005 wide-ranging consultations were undertaken with key stakeholders at the FRSP Challenges and Change forum held in Melbourne. Over 200 participants attended representing a range of family relationship stakeholders, including government, not-for-profit and industry representatives.
This consultative forum provided a platform for the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) and the Attorney-General’s Department (AGD) to develop the priorities and outcomes represented in the FRSP Strategic Plan 2005-2008.
The FRSP Strategic Plan 2005-2008 aims to set a clear agenda for the FRSP so that we can meet the challenges ahead to deliver the following strategic themes:
- accessible and responsive
- high quality
- integrated services.
