Early Intervention Service Provider Panel application process 

Applications for membership of the Better Start Early Intervention Service Provider Panel (the Panel) can be submitted online at any time.

FaHCSIA has established a panel of early intervention professionals to deliver early intervention services to eligible children as part of the Better Start for Children with Disability (Better Start) initiative. The purpose of the Panel is to improve access to targeted and appropriate early intervention services for eligible children.

FaHCSIA encourages eligible organisations, consortia and sole providers to apply to join the Panel.

All intending service providers, including service providers currently delivering early intervention services under the Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) package, will need to formally apply to join the Panel.

Applications are now open and the assessment of applications is ongoing.

Update to Eligibility Requirements for Professional Practitioners

Please note the professional membership requirements for Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists have been updated based on advice from their respective professional associations. All new applicants must ensure their organisation meets these requirements, including new consortium members or subcontractors.

Please ensure you read the Better Start for Children with Disability (Better Start) Early Intervention Service Provider Panel Operational Guidelines Section 3.1 Membership of the Panel to ensure you meet requirements prior to submitting an application.

FaHCSIA will shortly be updating the Application Form for Membership of the Early Intervention Service Provider Panel to reflect these changes.
