16. FaHCSIA National Office Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

The Early Intervention Service Provider Panel is managed by the Autism Spectrum Disorders Branch within FaHCSIA. FaHCSIA is responsible for:

  • Providing a monthly Activity Statement through FOFMS to families/carers who have received early intervention services during the preceding month;
  • Providing support and assistance to providers on the Panel;
  • Providing constructive feedback to providers on the Panel;
  • Managing the program in line with the FaHCSIA guidelines; and
  • Reviewing the Panel, in the context of a review of the Helping Children with Autism package.

The primary contact for the Panel is the Contract Manager identified in the Deed of Agreement. Any inquiries relating to the content of the Operational Guidelines should be directed to this person in the first instance.
