Minister Macklin requested the Inquiry into Better Support for Carers in May 2008 to examine how Government could better support the needs of carers. The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Family, Community, Housing and Youth report: Who Cares … ? Report on the inquiry into better support for carers was tabled in Parliament on 25 May 2009.
The Government response to the Inquiry into Better Support for Carers was tabled on 29 October 2009.
