The original cliam was entitled Lake Amadeus/Luritja Land Claim and was amended in 1979 to include Uluru (Ayers Rock-Mount Olga) National Park. The claimants were described as belonging to the Yunkantjatjara, Pitjantjatjara and Matuntara linguistic groups
