University of Melbourne - Agreements, Treaties and Negotiated Settlements (ATNS) Project

In an ARC Linkage project with OIPC and Rio Tinto, the University of Melbourne conducts research into agreement making processes, including factors associated with promoting long-term sustainability of agreement and to expand the ATNS database.

The ARC process ensures that projects are high quality and viable across the proposed time frame.  The researcher maintains the intellectual property rights on the research.  FaHCSIA provides expertise in all cases and funding in some case.

Reports are released throughout projects and are available publicly.  Please refer to website http://www.atns.net.au/
