This is the first report on an application made to the Aboriginal Land Commissioner under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976.
The land claimed comprises three separate areas within the Borroloola region, described in the application as:
- Vacant Crown Land known as the 'Borroloola Town Common'
- Vacant Crown Land known as the 'Sir Edward Pellew Group of Islands'
- Vacant Crown Land on Robinson River Pastoral Lease, known as 'Proposed Aboriginal Reserve, Robinson River
