Opportunities for future appointments
The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) maintains a database of highly qualified professionals interested in ministerial appointment to positions on boards and committees under its portfolio.
The Interested Persons Register (IPR) is used to provide the Minister, the Hon Jenny Macklin MP, with a selection of highly qualified candidates for consideration as vacancies arise.
The IPR provides individuals with an opportunity to contribute to closing the gap on Indigenous disadvantage by setting the strategic agenda for a range of Government bodies.
The Department welcomes expressions of interest at any time throughout the year.
How to apply
To submit an expression of interest for inclusion onto the IPR, email a comprehensive curriculum vitae including employment history, qualifications and relevant board experience to IPR@fahcsia.gov.au.
