The Aboriginals Benefit Account Advisory Committee advises the Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs on, Aboriginals Benefit Account (ABA), payments for projects that will benefit Aboriginal people living in the Northern Territory. Decisions about what initiatives will be funded are made by the Minister.

- a Chair appointed by the Minister for a three year term
- 14 members elected by the four Northern Territory Land Councils.

Mrs Brahim has strong family ties to the Warrumungu people and is from the Tennant Creek region. She brings to her role extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, working with governments at all levels, to improve the economic, social and community health of Indigenous Northern Territorians.
Mrs Brahim has extensive expertise in business development, housing, land agreements, native title, health and community services, and community development.
