The purpose of this document is to report on activities under the Tasmania’s National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness (NPAH) Implementation Plan during the 2010-11 financial year. The 2010-2011 Annual Report details the progress of initiatives, achievements and performance measures endorsed in the Tasmania’s Implementation Plan.
In 2009-2010 in Tasmania there was a focus on planning to establish new initiatives with an emphasis on best practice, research evidence and financial modelling. This was to ensure that new initiatives address service gaps, meet client outcomes and are viable within the budget provisions.
In 2010-2011 the focus was on implementation. Many of the new initiatives have now been delivered and excellent outcomes from programs can now be seen. There is also a significant focus on integration and service system reform.
