Better Start for Children with Disability (Better Start) Parent & Carer Fact Sheet

From 1 January 2013, children who are aged under 6 years and have been diagnosed with Prader Willi, Williams, Angelman, Kabuki, Smith-Magenis, CHARGE, Cornelia de Lange or Cri du Chat syndromes or microcephaly will be able to register to access early intervention funding of up to $12,000 (up to a maximum of $6,000 per financial year) under the Better Start for Children with Disability (Better Start) initiative.
