The project will take a place‑based approach to improving the capacity of the King Island community to support vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and promote their social inclusion. The project will identify the needs of particular target groups within the community and will assess how the existing service network can be improved to support vulnerable and disadvantaged people within those groups. Through existing and new partnerships the project will also maximise opportunities for individuals to become involved and included within the King Island community through volunteering and mentoring. The aim of the project is to deliver a more integrated, sustainable approach to service delivery and support for vulnerable and disadvantaged people within the King Island community.
