- National Illicit Drug Strategy (NIDS) - Strengthening and Supporting Families Coping with Illicit Drug Use (Strengthening Families) Measure
- National Youth Affairs Research Scheme (NYARS)
- National Youth Roundtable
- Ship for World Youth
- National Indigenous Youth Leadership Group
Service Delivery
The delivery of service and customer information has been subcontracted to Centrelink.National Youth Mentoring Partnership
The Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, together with Dusseldorp Skills Forum, The Smith Family, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Job Futures, have formed the National Youth Mentoring Partnership. In December 2004, the following youth payments and programs were transferred to the Department of Education, Science and Training:- Youth Allowance (for students)
- Fares Allowance
- Student Financial Support Scheme and
- Ex-gratia exempt scholarships
- Youth Allowance (fpr the unemployed)
- Green Corp
- Job Placement, Employment and Training (JPET)
- Voluntary Work Initiative, and
- Personal Support Program
