Footprints in Time - the Longitudinal Study of Indigenous Children (LSIC) is a landmark study tracking the long-term development of 2,200 Indigenous children from communities across Australia.
The aim of the study is to improve the understanding of, and policy response to, the diverse circumstances faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, their families, and communities. Footprints in Time will provide a data resource that can be drawn on by Australian governments, researchers, service providers, parents and communities.
