Leadership Readiness Assessment
If you answer "yes" to four or more of these questions, you may be ready, willing and able to develop your leadership potential through the opportunities of the Indigenous Leadership Program.
This Readiness Assessment form is included in the Application Kit to help you decide whether you are ready to participate in the Indigenous Leadership Programs. It is offered for you to use as an informal guide only and does not need to be returned with your application.
Are you ready?
- I want to build on my personal leadership skills
- I can commit to the time and energy required to complete this leadership program
Are you willing?
- I am willing to explore those issues that may be limiting my leadership aspirations
- I am willing to try new actions and take on different ways of thinking
Are you able?
- A leadership program at this time is the best way for me to make the changes necessary for personal leadership growth
- I am in good health and can commit to a 6-7 month leadership program
- I have the drive and energy to take actions towards my goals
- I have the support I need to make necessary changes (e.g. family, friends, employer)
