Utilities Allowance is an income supplement available to Carer Payment recipients, and certain other income support recipients, to assist with utilities bills such as gas and electricity. Utilities Allowance has been increased to $500 a year for singles or couples combined, from 20 March 2008 and is paid in quarterly instalments. - Telephone Allowance
Telephone Allowance is an income supplement available to Carer Payment recipients, and certain other income support recipients and pensioners, to assist in maintaining a home telephone or Internet service.
