Recipients in paid employment remain qualified for MOB during all periods in which their contract of employment has not been terminated, and they receive income from their employer.
Example: Periods of workers' compensation, recreation or sick leave, flextime, rostered days off and long service leave.

Recipients who fall sick for a period less than or equal to 3 months and who do NOT receive income from an employer, remain qualified for MOB if they:

A standard rate MOB recipient who has voluntary work to resume, remains qualified for standard rate MOB for a period of up to 3 months if they are unable to attend work because of illness.
