1.1.E.05 Early school leaver (YA)

Usage

This definition applies to YA (job seeker).

 

Definition

An early school leaver is a person who:

  • is less than 21 years old, and
  • has not completed the final year of secondary school, or an equivalent level of education (Certificate Level II and above), and
  • is not undertaking full-time study.
