Introduction of National Gambling Reform Bills

On 1 November 2012, the Australian Government introduced legislation to tackle problem gambling and reduce the harm caused by poker machines. This follows extensive consultations on its exposure drafts with venues, manufacturers and suppliers, state and territory governments, prevention and treatment providers and Members of Parliament.
