Management and accountability

In this section:

FaCSIA’s new approach to management and accountability

Part 3 of FaCSIA’s 2005–06 Annual Report, management and accountability, went through extensive internal and external reviews.

Taking these recommendations into account and complying with all annual reporting requirements set by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, FaCSIA has provided additional information about the Department’s new strategic direction, program simplification, human resources, external scrutiny and stakeholder engagement. This information is covered in detail in Part 3 of the Annual Report.

In addition, case studies and facts at a glance feature throughout the report, and are also included in Part 3. The purpose of these new changes to Part 3 is to enhance accessibility, to highlight important information and to engage the reader in FaCSIA’s Annual Report.
