This is a bar graph showing the total number of Questions on Notice for the portfolio in each of the years 2000-2001, 2001-02, 2002-03 and 2003–04. The graph also shows the department's timeliness performance against the standard of 23 days for providing a draft response to the ministers. The horizontal axis is the financial years; the vertical axis is numbers 0 to 140.
In 2003–04, this standard was met in 50 per cent of cases, from a total of 99 Questions on Notice. This compares to:
- 76 per cent in 2003–04, from a total of 133
- 75 per cent in 2001-02, from a total of 75
- 84 per cent in 2000-01, from a total of 118
