A Social Security Agreement between Australia and the Slovak Republic came into force on 1 January 2012. The Agreement was signed on 21 September 2010 by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Kevin Rudd MP and the Slovak Republic Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Mikuláš Dzurinda.
