The Australian Disability Enterprises Excellence Awards recognise, encourage and promote the significant contribution that Australian Disability Enterprises make in improving the lives of people with disability. These Awards recognise the dual focus of Disability Enterprises as viable businesses and providing high quality employment to people with disability.
Held in Sydney last year, the Awards were very successful and well received by the sector.
This year the Awards will be presented to finalists at the National Disability Services Employment Forum which is being held on 6 to 7 September 2010 at the Hilton Hotel, Melbourne.
The Department is now calling for nominations for the Awards.
If you know of an Australian Disability Enterprise that has made a significant contribution to encouraging people with disability to participate to their full potential in employment, tell us about it by nominating them for the Australian Disability Enterprises Excellence Awards 2010.
