Seeking Expressions of Interest in future Ministerial appointments to Portfolio Bodies

Expressions of Interest in future Ministerial appointments to Portfolio Bodies

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) is seeking expressions of interests from suitably qualified individuals wishing to be considered for future appointments to government boards and committees within the Portfolio.  FaHCSIA maintains a register of interested persons for vacancies that arise in Portfolio bodies including statutory bodies corporate, statutory office-holders, ministerial advisory bodies, taskforces and corporations.

Individuals with strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills may express an interest in any of the Portfolio Bodies at any time. Vacancies currently exist in the Board of Directors for Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) and the Board of Directors for Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL).  In addition to the skills and experience listed above, experience in industry, commerce or finance, working with Indigenous community enterprises and service providers will be well regarded for opportunities to these Boards.
