2008-09 Women’s Leadership and Development Programme Grants
Applications are invited from eligible national women’s non government organisations (NGOs) to undertake projects that strengthen their capacity to represent and advocate for the diversity of women in Australia.
Proposals must support national women’s NGOs to:
- (a) interact more effectively with women who are not engaged in current policy debates, including (but not limited to) women from marginalised groups; and/or
- (b) improve service delivery to these women.
Applicants may apply for up to $100,000 (excluding GST) per project.
Projects may include strategies to broaden membership of the NGO, improve communication with and/or enhance service delivery to woemn who are marginalised or not engaged in current policy debates.
Projects may be conducted nationally or regionally and must be completed within 12 months of commencement. It is anticipated that funding will be allocated to successful applicants by 30 June 2009.
