On Wednesday 17 June, the Government announced a suite of changes to the Whole of Government Strategy to Combat Trafficking in Persons. As part of these changes, a number of enhancements will be made to the Support for Victims of People Trafficking Program, which the Women’s Branch administers. The changes to the Strategy aim to make it more victim-focussed and flexible, and are based on extensive feedback from the community sector.
