Number 42: New father figures and fathers who live elsewhere

This report investigates outcomes for children who experience a ‘new father figure’ moving into their home, as well as the effects of having a biological father who does not live with them. The report uses data from Waves 1 to 3 of Growing Up in Australia: the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children (LSAC), a large-scale, nationally representative study of children and families.
