Provision of FaCS social policy research services: an update
FaCS has embarked on the development of medium-term social policy research relationships with three research providers, worth $1.5 million a year over a period of four years.
Following an open tender process in 2000, Social Policy Research Services (SPRS) Agreements have been developed with:
- the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research (Melbourne Institute) at The University of Melbourne ($750,000 a year);
- the Social Policy Evaluation, Analysis and Research (SPEAR) Centre at the Australian National University ($288,000 a year); and
- the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC) at the University of New South Wales ($462,000 a year).
