  •  Australian Disability Enterprises

    Australian Disability Enterprises are commercial businesses that provide employment for people with disability.

  •  Australian Disability Enterprises Excellence Award 2011

    The Australian Disability Enterprises Excellence Awards recognise, encourage and promote the significant contribution that Disability Enterprises make in improving the lives of people with disability.

  •  Consumer Training and Support Products

    Consumer Training and Support products, including multimedia training and information products, have been developed for the disability employment sector.

  •  Disability Assistance Package

    In June 2007, around $100 million over five years was provided through disability assistance initiatives as additional support to disability business services which employ people with disability.

  •  Disability Employment Assistance

    Disability Employment Assistance is the name of the programme providing funding support on behalf of the Australian Government to Australian Disability Enterprises (formerly known as Business Services).

  •  Disability Services Census 2011

    The Disability Services Census collects information each year about funded disability services. The data obtained through this collection provides a comprehensive national picture of services for people with disability.

  •  National Disability Advocacy Program

    The Program provides organisations with funding to assist people with disability to overcome barriers that impact on their daily life and their ability to participate in the community.

  •  Outside School Hours Care for Teenagers with Disability

    This program (formerly known as the Extra Support for Children with Disability Program) is an Australian Government initiative to increase outside school hours care and holiday care for teenagers with disability aged from 12 to 18 years.

  •  Quality Strategy for Disability Employment and Rehabilitation Services

    All disability employment services must meet the requirements of the independent quality assurance system to receive funding from the Australian Government

  •  Accessible Communities

    This initiative provides $5 million in 2010-11 for grants of up to $100,000 to local governments with matched funding to make local buildings and public spaces more accessible for people with disability so they can fully participate in the community.

  •  Supported Accommodation Innovation Fund (SAIF)

    The Supported Accommodation Innovation Fund has been established to build innovative, community-based supported accommodation places for people with disability.
